Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Latin America: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top travel and local apps on Android in Latin America showed diverse performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Airbnb experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 297K at the beginning of October and peaking at around 405K by the end of December. Its weekly active users also rose significantly from 6M to about 8.6M over the quarter.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map saw a steady weekly download rate, beginning at 334K and slightly declining to 221K. The app's weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $167 in mid-November. Active users decreased from 1.87M to 1.5M towards the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a consistent growth in downloads, starting at 109K and ending the quarter with 191K. Active user numbers rose from 4.8M to 6.3M, marking a positive trend.

Google Earth experienced a decline in downloads from 103K to 79K. Active users saw a slight fluctuation but remained around 1.8M by the end of the year.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus achieved growth in downloads, starting at 64K and reaching 124K in late December. Active users increased from 2M to 2.4M, indicating a healthy user engagement.
